Syllabus Lesson Objective: Emphasis on using Angle of Attack to establish a stabilized approach to a runway not served by a VASI. Discussion on landing illusions due to rising terrain. Lesson Content: Discussion of landing illusions created by rising sloping terrain. Proper pattern entry and altitude and stabilized approach using unique methods to determine a 3 degree glide path. Completion Standards: Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of operations per current ACS standards.
