There are a few programs that offer Flight Training Scholarships. Some are gender based, others means based and generally offer programs that can assist eligible students to achieve some form of financially based assistance to further their flying career. One such program offers up to a $15,000 Scholarship is with Maui Flight Academy. This program is unique as it is a blind application process. There are two ways in which to qualify. First students fill out an online Survey form, then they have a choice of either purchasing a flying hat or enrolling and completing either of the Private Pilot or IFR Ground School. How is it funded? Proceeds from the sales of hats or online ground school get accumulated into the active tracking portal, so you can see how far along the program is to being fully funded. Once it is full, an announcement is made via social media. You can follow Maui Flight Academy on Facebook or on Instagram. @mauiflight #FTEProject You can get all the Scholarship details here. |
